Things I want to Do: Blog More
People, do you realize how much time it takes to blog? A lot. You can spend hours working on a post. And with 5 blogs to write and edit, it’s a 12-hour day sometimes. Key word-sometimes. Let’s face it, life in the big city is hectic. There always seems to be some fun and exciting event to go to. News flash!! Fun is a time thief. But let’s face it, I could be a bit more diligent in updating all of my blogs. I work pretty hard on Modern Urban Living. I do check my comments and stats on it everyday. But there are times I can go a week or two with no posts (yikes!). Modern Urban Style is just starting to develop and the readership grows stronger so it encourages me to post more. And Modern Urban Baby now has a writer so I don’t really worry to much about it’s day to day posts but there is still a lot of work to be done on the backend-(updates, new themes, advertising).
Sooo…in the second installment of, “Things I want to Do”, I profess my desire to work towards putting all of my (working) energy into my blogs. However, after almost two years of blogging, experience has taught me if you’re going to do something like this, you have to have structure. I have started to create that by simply comprising a list of what a typical productive day in the life of a problogger would look like. I have had some help, via various Probloggers out there and have begun to develop a format. I will keep you posted on my progress, err…well I guess you will be able to tell whether or not if I am doing it or not. :> Perhaps I will post it here to inspire other bloggers.
