I started a new gig this week at a pet store in SoHo. I pass this big fella everyday at the corner of Spring Street and West Broadway.

Well pretty much acclimated back into city life again. But I have to say it is still feels strange. I miss my Copenhagen life but it’s OK because I have some Danish friends who are living here till the summer so it kind of tricks me in to thinking I am back in DK. My friend, Ben and I are hosting a party at my place on Saturday night. We’re throwing it for our friend George, who is leaving for Miami for a year. I invited some of my friends that I haven’t seen since I left so it will be good to see everyone.

Arrived back in New York Monday night. I know I have only been gone three months but it has taken me a couple days to readjust to the Big City. It feels very strange to be back. It feels like I have two lives going at once. I tried to describe it to a friend, “…it is like riding in a new car that you love. Your speeding along the autobahn at 100kmh when suddenly you hit a roadblock. You must get out of the car, go around the roadblock and get back into your old car and continue driving. You don’t mind your old car because it was a good dependable car but you’ve outgrown it, your tired of it. You want your new car back.”

Well today was my last day in Copenhagen (at least until warmer weather comes!) and it was lovely spent with a new friend. We walked all around Copenhagen revisiting some of my favorite sites and exploring some one new ones. I have always wanted to go up in the Rundetaarn or “Round Tower”, an old 15th century astronomical observatory.
Instead of stairs, you climb a spiral walk to the top of the tower.

When you climb to the top you can see the whole city of Copenhagen. It was a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. Farvel Copenhagen! See you when the sun is shining again. :>

Oy vey!

I now pronounce you…

Two very important things are missing here: coverage and support.

I have been to busy enjoying my last week in Copenhagen so much I haven’t had much time for writing! Yesterday I spent the whole day at the swimming hall- DGI Byen. It’s a gigantic complex with a training center and a half dozen pools. It was great to just swim and swim but today I am really paying for it. After six hours of swimming I am swam out.
